What is a Bat Mitzvah?
A coming of age ceremony for Jewish boys and girls when they reach the age of 12 or 13. The celebration of a bat mitzvah signifies that the young woman is beginning and will continue to function as an active and responsible Jew in the synagogue and in the wider Jewish community.
What is the requested attire for temple and kiddush luncheon?
Men and boys can wear slacks, a button down and tie or no tie. Suit not required, but acceptable.
Women and girls can wear daytime dresses or slacks.
What is the requested attire for the reception?
Men and boys can wear slacks and a button down.
Women and girls can wear dresses.
